Argue fromauthority.The real kind.
Pragmatis Law is a research platform for Indian, US, and UK law. Put your question to The High Counsel. It answers from more than two million indexed cases and statutes, and it pins every citation to the statute, the paragraph, and the forum that decided it. Every citation resolves to a passage you can read.
The record
The corpus stands at two million cases. It is being built toward twenty.
2M+
Cases indexed and searchable today, across Indian, US, and UK courts.
20M
Cases in the target corpus. Indexing continues every week.
3
Jurisdictions covered in one place: India, the United States, the United Kingdom.
0
Invented authorities. If the case does not exist, the sentence is not written.
The method
Four steps, and each one leaves a trail you can check.
Put the question
Ask in plain language, the way you would brief a junior. Specific performance before the Bombay High Court. Fiduciary duty under Delaware law. Penalty clauses in the UK after Cavendish.
The High Counsel reads
It searches the indexed corpus of decided cases and enacted statutes across all three jurisdictions, then drafts its answer from what it finds there, and from nothing else.
Every line is pinned
Each proposition carries its authority: the statute, the paragraph, the forum. Click any citation and read the passage it rests on before you rely on it.
The work leaves with you
Export the answer to Word for the brief, to WhatsApp for the client, and to Clio for the matter file. The citations travel with it.
I ran its first answer against SCC Online, all ten citations, one by one. Each resolved to the exact paragraph it claimed. That evening I stopped calling it an experiment.
The coverage
Three jurisdictions, held to one standard of citation.
India
The Supreme Court of India, the High Courts, and the principal tribunals. Statutes from the Indian Contract Act, 1872 forward.
United States
The Supreme Court, the federal circuits, and state appellate courts. The United States Code alongside state statutes.
United Kingdom
The Supreme Court and the House of Lords before it, the Court of Appeal, the High Court, and the law reports behind them.
In closing
Test it against a matter you already know.
Bring a question you have answered the hard way. Check what The High Counsel returns, and where each citation lands. Then bring the one sitting on your desk.
